Happy Christmas and Happy New Year

 Some last pics of Gaia. She loves to sleep in my bed. Christmas was very quiet with only my daughter and her boyfriend. Last week on a Tuesday she has bitten my neighbors dog. Well that's a long story, the leash slept out of my hand while my neighbor was opening his gardendoor for leaving his dog out. So Gaia could run off for the dog and in the fight she bit the dog. They hate each other. He could profent worse by picking up his dog. When I checked on the dog there was a biting wound on his back. So he took the dog to the vet and got medication to profent an abces. The bill is on my and now it's up to my ensuring company what to do with it. Suspent it or paying me the bill back. I will see. I'm very sad, cause Gaia almost hate every dog and goes nuts.

Losing tooth

 

About a week ago Gaia was furious about another dog in the neighborhood and was biting to the dog throughout the iron fence. She couldn't reach the other dog but she hurts herself in the mouth. There was a front tooth bleeding and she kept likking her lips. It didn't feel well for her. It was a bad tooth already and I always thought it was infected; the colour was different and the position wasn't right. There was always a bad smell. Fortunately Gaia was chewing a treat she always gets when we come home after our late night walk and suddenly I saw something on the carpet and Gaia was likking and sniffing about it. When I looked closely and when I picked it up I saw it was the bad tooth. Now she finally get rid of it. I think it was painful for her but I couldn't do anything about it. Now she's missing 4 fronttheeth in her upper jaw. The other 3 she probably lost in Roemenia when she was abused or maby was hit by a car. I'll never know. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to look into her mouth (she hadn't any problem with that) but now she won't let me. I think it hurts. Well it's gonna be oké with her. She still got teeth and big ones too...She won't starve🤣.

Bedtime

 Now Ruby ain't living here anymore 😢 her place in my bed is empty and above all it feels lonely, Gaia decided to sleep next to me. At first we did a big hug before I stepped into my bed and she stepped next to me. I did show her her place on her own pillow but every time I did that she returned next to me so I got tired of sending her away. Well I stopped sending her away and now she's the first who is laying down on Ruby's place. And so we're listening together how the rain is pouring down on us.

On the beach

 Today in the aftermath of summer we went to the beach in Noordwijk and the busy shopping streets she never went before. There were so many other dogs on the beach and the shopping street was very exciting for Gaia. She had to wait every time when I was going inside a shop (she waited outside with LP) and was very glad when I came out again. On the beach she hates water, didn't want to go into the sea. First time Gaia sees the see. I've got a 3 m. leash but I'm going to buy a 15 m. one so she can run along the beach next time we are in the woods or on the beach. I want her to be happy and feel free. 

Panbos 04-09-2021

 Last Sunday we went to Panbos again and made a walk of 8 km through the woods. Gaia had a great time and the weather was very nice. Warm and sunny. This week we had a little bit of an Indian Summer. We want to go again when fall is on his way around the end of oktober when the weather will be not that bad. When all the leaves are falling down and extrodenairy colors will blind are eyes. All the caterpillars we met last time when we were in Panbos are gone and turned into butterflies. Well I think so.

 When I'm laying on my couch, Gaia tries to get on the back pillow so she can control the situation: the boss is laying down so I watch over her. Dominant Gaia.
